Our time in Jarrolds Norwich

Our time in Jarrolds Norwich

A great week at Jarrolds.

Albeit a little higgledy piggledy....

We started off on Floor 2 with the other local independent makers in the mini Christmas Market.

Members evening was a blast - what with the wine, and Mum's homemade mincemeat shortbread crumble slice. Loved by all who got the chance to nab a complimentary piece (or 2 or 6!).

Here's the recipe, as so many of you asked.  Even if you didn't get a chance to try it on the night, have a go at making it. Its super easy, incredibly more-ish and universally loved. Exactly as baking should be.

The morning after all this festivity, Floor 2 became super chaotic and we were politely asked to move (they are building something new and exciting up there).

Rob (fellow stall holder) said 'in 15 years I've never had to move location mid show'.

So in a surprised, and quite higgledy piggledy fashion, we upped and down'ed to the ground floor.

And set up all over again.

My Dad always said a change is as good as a rest.

Bless him.

Anyway, it was really great to meet so many of you in person.

And hear first-hand how you love to support UK makers and a calmer, more sustainable way of life. (pro tip: its all about having fewer, better things)

So if you are still looking for a unique and memorable gift, remember our handmade pots come with a candle plus a free refill. They are gorgeous (the pots and the scents and the box).
It's the gift that keeps on giving - long after this year ends and the new one begins.

Also do check out our new unique cards. They come with a lovely string and washer envelope. Just to add that extra bit of class.

Lastly, when short of time; our digital gift card is the perfect solution. Let them do the choosing. Just sit back and relax, knowing they'll get exactly what they want.
